Everyone loves our accommodations the best, so we decided to invite the gang over for a party. Sue and Rob live in this open air tree house at the top of the Mexican hotel called Ana Ruths. It is right next to a very large parota tree and just a very few steps to the beach. It took a lot of preparation for the party.
Rob and Sue had to get into the party zone very early in the morn, so they went walking on the beach around 8 a.m. with Betty and Milla. Check out the videos uploaded for this date.
Then it was very important that they relax at Ana Ruth's sidewalk cafe, sipping on a cactus drink and eating toast and jam.
Around 11 a.m. it was time for some food preparations. Betty went back to her very dark and cold and lonely sterile condo to make spareribs. Milla went to buy some wine and a pre-cooked chicken since she really has no clue about food. Robert searched the local stores for cucumbers to make his mother-in-laws famous salad while Sue made the roasted potato slices dripping with fresh olive oil and garlic. Kathy was whipping up her famous egg plant parmesan and Bill was hunting for the Huntsman female spider. Darlene promised to bring her famous carrot cake. Her apartment is very quaint but not secure. Her neigbours are losing their minds and can't remember to lock the doors to the building at night thus making Darlene stressed.
Well around 9:30 p.m., the last 2 partiers left. They waddled and stumbled over the cobblestones heading to the Luna Lounge to dance the night away to CCR.
Katherine came 1 week ago to escape the cold and snow of the north, and warm up here in Bucerias, and visit with Milla for 1 week. I think she wishes she could stay and that her husband was here with her.
We are so glad not to be on this ship.
We would rather be here.
