Mon. Mar. 10 - A typical day in Bucerias

Bucerias Mexico is about a 20 min. bus ride north from the Puerto Vallarta airport on highway 200.  The population is around 15000 and during January to March, many of them are from Canada.  It has a long beautiful sandy beach in Banderas Bay.  The weather seems perfect, not really too hot until April.  The currency is the pesos, and that's how the Mexican's like to be paid.   The people are friendly, and there are many delicious places to eat.  Life goes on here just like anywhere else.

For example ...

They pay no attention to the many iguanas.

They don't even notice the yellow-crowned night herons.

Some of them ride horses in the dark.

They fix the roads when they have the money.

They love their sunsets.

We even saw a hole in one.

This lady feeds a carrot to a donkey. who is tied to a tree, has no water, and can't move

And some of them get their hair cut.
