Parrots have 4 toes on each foot and can mimic human speech. I heard this Great Green Macaw say, "Get me the hell out of here, somebody! Don't you humans know that it is against the law to do this to me."
Save the Parrots: Currently the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) bans the sale of any wild-caught species, yet the parrots' popularity continues to drive illegal trade.
Note: This parrot is in a cage outside a restaurant in Bucerias Centro, next to the newly constructed main square.
