People will do anything for a pesos here in Bucerias!
Sunday is all about food for us. Well, maybe everyday is, but Sunday is for sure. Rob and Sue rose early and went to the Bucerias market around 8 a.m. They stocked up on everything because they are going to make a giant pot of beet soup. Kathy also was at the market in Bucerias, but alone, since she didn't get going until 9 a.m. Bill seems to be feeling a little under the weather and Jack is as healthy and active as a horse. Kathy spent most of the day relaxing and swimming with Jack.
Sue and Robert got everything for their soup but still needed some delicious desserts so they took the bus around the bay to La Cruz. They came home with many scrumptious treats.
The hot afternoon was spent relaxing and visiting.
We visited Betty around 5 p.m. She was in her colourful apartment cooking and invited us for supper. She is a great cook.
Milla and her friend Catherine, are still en route from Canada. They are suppose to appear around suppertime. They will probably be starving. There is a great restaurant next to their apartment called Luna Luna. Milla ate there last year once so maybe that is where they will have their Sunday supper.
We are living a dog's life in Bucerias!

Note: It seems like Mexicans love to deep fry their food.
Note: It appears that the "gringos" eat way too many desserts.
