It has been over a week since we arrived here in Bucerias Mexico and today was our first beach day. Well, we didn't really go to the water's edge until around 3 p.m., and that's because it is too hot until then. Sue, Betty, and I (Robert) set up our towels a few feet from the waves, exposed our wrinkled old bodies to the sunshine, and started our first roasting session. I built my first sand sculpture, while Sue and Betty soaked their weary bones in the warm Pacific. It is Saturday, which is family day here in Bucerias, so many Mexican families were enjoying the beautiful weather with us. Horses, tourists, kids, and vendors strolled by periodically. It was so nice to be almost naked and its February.

We began the day with another shopping session at the WalMart and Sam's Club. Sue, Betty, and Bill love to shop so they traveled down the highway while Robert and Kathy entertained Jack back at the house. Kathy wasn't feeling up to snuff so she visited the local doctor for a shot in the ass.
Jack was engaged with his computer while the two bananas (Rob + Kathy) sat out on the deck and played cribbage. When the shoppers returned, there was some excitement centered around the new pool at Bucerias Homefinders. Maybe I will tell that story on a future blog entry. It is worth staying tuned.
