"Saint Nicholas"
on the way back from the carpintera
a.m.
Nicholas is the grandson of the owners of "Bucerias Homefinders". Elfreda, Bernie, and Christine operate the real estate company located in the centre of Bucerias. They are hard workers and very nice people. They have assisted Bill and Kathy, Sue and Rob, and also Betty with finding appropriate and comfortable accommodations here in Bucerias Mexico. Last winter, I took a photo of Nicholas, took it home to Canada, painted Nicholas' portrait, and today had it framed, and I gave it to the family as a thankyou gift for all their kindness.a.m. earlier
Sue and I met Betty on the beach at 8 a.m., for a morning stroll in search of rocks, tiles, and beach glass. The sun had just risen and the air was clear and warm.
p.m. early
Bill, Jack, and Kathy picked us up as soon as Jack was released from school around 2 p.m. and whisked us off to Neuvo Vallarta in search for the nasty looking crocodiles. New Vallarta is between Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias. It is very swamp and marsh like - perfect for birds and crocs!
(Note: Alligators only live in fresh water and crocodiles can live in both fresh and salt. Crocodiles have great eyesight, great hearing, and a great sense of smell)
Crocs have 4 muscles to open their mouths and 40 muscles to close it.

"I think I like to eat the whole family."
Crocodiles will eat anything even a pretty white egret who is fishing for her supper.
p.m. later
Rob, Betty, and Sue enjoyed the gorgeous sunset.
